Description: The Baptism and Confirmation Course is for those 13 and above seeking to be baptized or confirmed in SJSM. Registration for this course is compulsory for Baptism and Confirmation in SJSM. This 10-session course is offered twice a year to prepare anyone 13 years and older for baptism and confirmation. Water baptism is the public confession to follow Jesus taken by someone after accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. In the Anglican denomination, confirmation formalises the joining of the Anglican communion which is also a step in becoming a member of SJSM. This course seeks to help the baptism and confirmation candidate in understanding the ethos of Anglicanism, and to become integrated into the life of SJSM. Who should attend this course? a) Person 13 years and above wanting to be baptized and confirmed in SJSM b) Person 14 years and above baptized as an infant seeking confirmation c) Baptized but not yet confirmed adult from another Anglican church d) Baptized adult from a non-Anglican church
